The 2.  Exhibition of the EHBBC e.V. in Schauenburg Hoof was not only a full success for the club, but also for the many visitors, breeders and interested people. 
Again over 200 bettas from Holland, Switzerland, Thailand and of course Germany were presented.
On Saturday morning the fish were judged by 3 judges by the EHBBC standard, which had surely no easy task.  In the afternoon the winning fishes were determined and then were presented on an extra shelf, which was made available by our sponsor Tetra to the strained breeders and visitors. 

In the early evening the exhibition fish, announced from the breeders to the auction, were then auctioneered in the with tension expected auction by Rajiv Masillamoni.  The auction again was an absolute highlight of the exhibition and beside many good deals also some very high prices were obtained.  For a special pair of bettas from Sunpetch Panasjaroen from Thailand between Holland and Germany was a fought in bidding.  It then finally remained for 100 Euros as Final-offer in Germany.  In its inimitable kind with much fun Rajiv succeeded to arrange nearly for all fish of the auction a new owner.

The tombola proved also this time again as magnet for all visitors and participants.  This time there were 2 aquariums complete sets to win as main prices.  Dennerle sponsored again a professional CO2  and a Reiserfilter was probably also not to be despised. The lots were sold off in shortest time, so that everyone had to hurry around to gain one too. Also this time no owner of lot went home without profit. There were no rivets.

On Sunday morning the breeders offered bettas of their stock on the stock exchange. Here the resonance was also so good, that to noon the shelves had already considerable gaps.  However all visitors of the stock exchange found a fish of its choice or also equipment for their hobby. 

In all evenings of the exhibition the tables of the hotel Himmel were occupied with Bettafriends and until late into the night we talked about bettas and laughed.  Old friendships were deepened, new were made.   

The general resonance of the breeders and visitors suggests that this exhibition was the highlight in the european Bettaszene this year.  A successful weekend, which many will still for a long time remember.  The executive committee of the EHBBC e.V. would like to thank all people which helped in this exhibition.  Without you such a great event would not have been possible!
