The 12th betta show of the EHBBC e.V. in Hanover was not only for the club a complete success, but also for the numerous visitors, breeders and interested passers-by.

Again we could show more then 200 excellent bettas from breeders of The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Thailand and of course Germany. Friday morning the fishes were judged according to the EHBBC standard by 6 judges, whose task was certainly not an easy one. At noon the winners were chosen and were presented to the curious breeders and visitors. Thanks to Joep van Esch, who was main judge, and his judging team and to everybody who helped during the judging process.

In the early afternoon the show fishes that the breeders wanted to sell were finally put into the auction. Every day all auctions at our booth were frequented very well.

It was nice to meet new and see old members again, who worked hard at our booth. Thank you!

Also the fair itself offered a lot of attractions like a stunning shrimp championship, a dog and a cat show! The visitors of the fair all found their favourite betta and also equipment for their other pets.

Saturday morning the award ceremony took place. Also this time the challenge cup for the master of exhibition has been received a teenager from Germany, Sascha Bärwald.

General feedback from the breeders and visitors was throughout positive; therefore this show can be regarded as one of the highlights for the betta hobbyist scene. It was a successful weekend that will be remembered for a long time. Thanks to everybody!!!
